1. From April 15,2008(Tuesday) on, the following additional documents are required for Canadians to apply for a Chinese visa if the purpose of you trip is for:

Tourism:

     A. itinerary of your trip

     B. the original and copy of all-around flight ticket

     C. record of hotel reservation in China

Visiting relatives:

     A. the record or proof of relationship with the one you are going to visit

     B. the original and copy of the round-trip ticket

Business:

     A. visa notice form

     B. record of hotel reservation in China

     C. the all-around flight ticket

2. Non-Canadian applicants are required to submit the permanent residence card, study permit or work permit when applying.

3. A face-to-face interview may be asked by the Consul if necessary.
